Boyd A. “Skip” Tackett, “Chief Pilot”, Hogslayer

Skip Tackett is the President of Utility Aviation, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Brunner Aerospace, LLC.  Skip is an Honorably Discharged US Army Officer and US Army Special Operations soldier with 37 years of diverse, world-wide leadership and management experience in military and civilian flight operations. Skip’s civilian aviation qualifications include FAA ratings as a Rotary Wing Airline Transport Pilot and Rotary Wing Certified Flight Instructor-Instrument as well as a fixed wing Commercial SEL/MEL Instrument pilot with type ratings in the Russian Mi-8/17 and the AB/AW-139.  In the military, Skip was an AH-64 Apache pilot that fought in Desert Storm, was the Master Gunner that developed the first digital gunnery program for the US Army and was a senior fielding Standardization Instructor for the AH-64D Longbow Apache as well as a Master Trainer for 7 different foreign militaries.  Skip has been a deepwater Search and Rescue IFR/NVG Captain in the Gulf of Mexico rated for landings in all conditions on all vessels and rigs, Part 133 A-D Hoist and Advanced Air Ambulance qualified.  Skip has flown Russian Mi-17’s in combat, helped establish an Mi-17 training program for US and Coalition Special Operations forces and was the Chief Pilot for Northrup Grumman on a Special Operations Counter Narco-Terrorism program in Afghanistan. Most recently, he was also the General Manager for civilian flying service and was an Agent for Service on 14 CFR Parts 133, 135, 137, 141 and 145 operations.

David Fisher, “Chief Pilot”, Utility Aviation Inc.

David Fisher is the Chief Pilot of Utility Aviation, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Brunner Aerospace, LLC.  David is an Honorably Discharged US Army Officer with 38 years of diverse, leadership and management experience in military and civilian flight operations. David’s flying experience include civilian aviation qualifications FAA ratings as a Rotary Wing Airline Transport Pilot and Rotary Wing Certified Flight Instructor.  He taught entry level rotor-wing students for the US Military as well as Foreign governments at Fort Rucker Alabama and overseas.  He holds type ratings in the AB/AW-139, Sikorsky 76 series Airbus single and multi engine aircraft and Bell single and multi engine aircraft.  In the military, David was a UH-1 Instructor pilot and also flew the OH58. He was an IFR Captain in the Gulf of Mexico rated for landings in all conditions on all vessels and rigs, and performed external load operations to platforms offshore.
